Behind the Screens:

Mega Prince Varun Tej don't have much needed commercial success in his career so far except for an average result with Kanche. His last film, Mister is one of the biggest disasters of the year posing a serious threat to the actor’s career. Varun Tej kept all his hopes on his todays release Fida a. Let us see how the movie??

Story line:

Bhanumati (Sai Pallavi) and her sister Renuka are living happly in a village near Banswada, Nizamabad district in Telangana state. Raju (Raja Chembolu), an NRI  visits Renuka’s house along with his younger brother Varun (Varun Tej). Raju likes Renuka and as they prepare for marriage, a separate love track begins between Varun and Bhanumati. How their love story progresses? What is the conflict that comes between them and how it is resolved? forms the rest of the story.

Performances:

Varun Tej has put up a natural performance as an NRI and a true lover. But still he needs to concentrate on body language. One of the biggest assets to this film is Heroine Sai pallavi. Naturally she acted and totally involved in her role. She will win some best debut actress awards this year for sure. Her own dubbing with Telangana accent is another plus point. She looks naturally throughout the film without much makeup. Sirivennala sitha rama sastry’s son, Raja Chambolu is adequate. Saranya Pradeep is good as Sai Pallavi’s sister. Rest of the characters are okay in their roles.

Analysis:

Sekhar Kammula has made a heart-warming love story with middle-class sensibilities. He came up with strong female characters. Varun Tej has a winner in hand and Sekhar Kammula is back with bang. His direction, screenplay and narration are too good. His way of dealing for this story is soo nice.

Technical Values:

Shashi Kanth's music is good. Songs are soulful. They are picturized very well. Back ground score is too good. Special mention to Vijay C Kumar for his camera work. Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh is decent. Telangana slang Dialogues are good. The Production Values by Sri Venkateswara Creations are grand.

Thumbs up:

- Sai pallavi

- Direction

- First half

- Emotional scenes

- Narration

Thumbs down:

- Few dragged moments in second half

Final Verdict:

Fidaa is a Fresh and Breezy entertainment movie loaded with good humor, love, emotions and nice songs which will appeal to the youth audience.

Sekhar Kammula is back to his stronghold middle-class sensibilities and subtle romance touching the right emotions.

The first half is thoroughly enjoyable to all the classes of the audience with the marriage scene and love story in other track. There are minor issues in the second half like pace dropping midway but the film will give a very good feel over all.

Strongly recommend to watch this movie in the theaters. Just go and watch you will love it and you may like to watch again!!!
