Behind the Screens:
Naga Chaitanya had mixed results last year. His Premam was a decent success at the box office while his other film, Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo ended up as the biggest flop in his career. He has full hopes on his next project, Rarandoi Veduka Chooddham. The movie is directed by Kalyan Krishna who gave the biggest hit of his father’s career with Soggade Chinni Nayana. Let us see how the movie is?

Story-line:
Brahmarambha (Rakul Preet Singh) is a lovely village girl who comes to the city promising her mother she will never fall in love and will only marry the guy chosen by her father (Sampath Raj). She meets Siva (Naga Chaitanya) in Hero's friend Vennala Kishore's marriage. She moves with him to a condition that he should never propose to her. Even though Siva agrees, he could not resist but then could not propose to her due to the condition. Rest of the story is all about what happens in their love story.

Performances:
Naga Chaitanya and Rakul Preet Singh are the major attractions for the film. Major scenes in the film have screen space of Naga Chaitanya and Rakul Preet Singh.Naga Chaitanya delivered impressive performance throughout the film. Rakul Preet plays a village girl role. She has more space to showcase her talent and she did with an ease. But in some scenes, you can feel why she acts more than what her role requires. Her looks in traditional wear is good. The chemistry between them is excellent. Senior Actors Jagapathi Babu and Sampath Raj are superb in their father's roles. All comedians wasted in this films as not so great comedy generated by them except Vennela Kishore. Kishore role gives some laughs here and there. Rest of characters Benarji, Chalapathi Rao, Annapurna, Kaumadi supports the film.

Analysis:
Director Kalyan Krishna does a decent job. This movie would be better or perfect if he concentrates only on content, not commercial elements by adding of unwanted comedy bits except Vennala Kishore's role. Somehow, you can feel that director is trying to imitate Krishna Vamshi kind of taking. The family emotions give us an okay feel.

Technical Values:
Devi Sri Prasad's music is good. Songs are good and well picturized. Rerecording matches the moto. SV Visweshwar's camera work is good. He showed the beautiful locations of Vizag and village beauty with his lens. Every frame is colorful. Editing by Gautham Raju should have been better in the second half. Few Dialogues are good. Especially dialogues while the breakup scenes happened between lead pair are awesome and will get big applause from viewers. Production values of Annapurna Studios are in rich.

Rakul Preet: Bramarambaji Kopamochindi..
Naga Chaitanya: Ikkada Shiva Gadiki Siraakochindi...
Yee Anni bramarambake vasthayaa... Makem raavaaa...

Thumbs Up:
- Lead Pair
- Camera Work
- Music

Thumbs Down:
- Unwanted comedy bits in first 30 minutes
- Parts of scenes in second half

Final Verdict:
Rarandoi Veduka Chooddham is an out and out family entertainer. This story is in the lines of Ninne Pelladatha movie.
The first half is enjoyable with the scenes between the lead pair and Vennela Kishore’s comedy. The emotional part is high in the second half.
One time watchable film if you like family entertainers.

Bottom Line: Upgraded version of yesteryear's blockbuster "Ninne Pelladatha"

Banner: Abhishek Pictures
Censor Certificate: U/A
Runtime: 116 minutes (1 hour: 56 minutes)
Release date: May 19th, 2017
Watched at Galaxy theater, Tolichowchi

Behind the Screens:

Young Hero Nikhil impressed the audience with his unique story selection after back to back flops before Swamy Ra Ra movie. Now he came up with another interesting subject with Keshava. His last film, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada ended up as his career best movie at box office and Hero is looking for the same result once again with Keshava. Then we can see how the move is?

Story-line:

Keshava (Nikhil) loses his parents in a car accident in his childhood. He lives with his sister. Keshava suffers from a rare heart disease as his heart on the right side and should always keep his anger or tension in check. Any mental or physical tension will ruin his health. In this situation, he goes on a killing spree and rest is all about what happens forms the story.

Performances:

Nikhil came up with an intense performance in a role which is keen on revenge for his parent's death. Throughout the film, Nikhil totally settled in his character. Hero character requires to be serious, he acted with an ease with a serious note.  Isha Koppikar in her comeback as an IPS Officer makes a stunning comeback. Ritu Varma is good in the short role. Vennela Kishore is excellent with his typical comedy timing and expressions. Priyadarshi is just okay in a limited role. Anchor anusuya bharadwaj voice completely suits to her. Others like Rao Ramesh, Ajay, Brahmaji, Raja Ravindra are good in their roles.

Analysis:

Director Sudheer Varma handled the revenge drama in a stylish manner.  First and foremost is director succeeded by not encouraging unnecessary commercial elements in the film like item songs, love songs between lead pair etc except very few forced comedy bits. Keshava is a Crime Thriller which has got a simple story but runs completely on the screenplay.

The Right Side Heart Disorder of Nikhil has got nothing to the story as mainly focused in trailers. Elevating the movie with this problem would have given a different shape to the film but the director Sudheer Varma haven't focused on it. And producers and director used that point in film's promotions cleverly. There are other things which would have been good if addressed properly.

Technical Values:

Sunny's music is good. Prashant Pillai’s Background score is hunting and terrific. Diwakar Mani’s Cinematography is top notch and the lighting gives an intense feel while watching the film. Editing is good and Few Dialogues are good. Production Values of Abhishek Pictures are good.

Positives:
- Crisp Narration
- Screenplay
- Twists
- BGM
- Cinematography

Negatives:
- Parts of scenes

Final Verdict:
Kesava film is gripping decent revenge drama which picturized in a stylish manner.

The Right Side Heart Disorder of Nikhil has got nothing to the story as mainly focused in trailers. Director should have used the novel point of Right Side Heart to drive the point effectively.

You can watch this movie with fewer expectations.

Bottom Line: Don't Drink and Drive

Babu Baga Busy Movie Review

Movie: Babu Baga Busy

Cast: Srinivasa Avasarala, Mishti Chakraborty, Tejaswi Madivada, Sreemukhi, Posani, Aadarsh Balakrishna, Priya Darshi, Sudha, Tanikella bharani and Others
Director: Naveen Medaram
Story by Harshavardhan Kulkarni
Dialogues: Mirchi Kiran
Music Director: Sunil Kashyap
Cinematographer: Suresh Bhargava
Editor: SB Uddhav
Producer: Abhishek Nama
Banner: Abhishek Pictures
Censor Certificate: A
Runtime: 125 minutes
Release date: May, 5th, 2017
Watched at Shiva Parvathi Theater, Kukatpally

Behind the Screens:
Srinivas Avasarala who has soft person image is experimenting with his image trying a film which shows him as a sex addict with ‘Babu Baga Busy’. The movie is also Avasarala’s First ever re-make film. ‘Babu Baga Busy’ is the official remake of Hindi Blockbuster, ‘Hunter’. Let us know how the movie is?

Story-line:
Madhav (Srinivas Avasarala) who is an unassuming sex addict. He is only interested in ‘scoring’ one night stands while his friends are all married with kids. The movie deals with various phases of Madhav’s life and his Sex Adventures mixed with adult comedy, interestingly all of them are revealed when Madhav goes to Radha (Mishti Chakraborty) for Marriage Alliance. Rest of story you can see on screen.

Performances:
‘Babu Baga Busy’ Casting is a big misfit. Srinivas Avasarala is a misfit as a ‘playboy’ in the movie. The actor has performed well in the role but does not fit in. Mishti Chakraborty is just okay while Tejaswi Madivada has a limited role. Sree Mukhi is just confined to a Two Scenes. Few comedy scenes from Priya Dharshi are good. Tanikella Bharani, Sudha, Posani, Aadarsh Balakrishna and all have insignificant roles.

Analysis:
Debut director Naveen Medaram failed in both direction and story narration. The screenplay is often confusing as the director chose to switch between the past and the present. Remakes having few advantages to the director. Director will have a rough plan about how to make the film after seeing the Original one. That should have helped the new director to a large extent. But then, he ended up with a disappointing work.

Technical Values:
Music by Sunil Kashyap is not so good. None of the songs are impressive. Poor Camera Work with not so color mixing appears as a low quality. Editor had much scope trim few cuts. Dialogues are okay. Production values of Abhishek Pictures are okay.

Thumbs Up:
- Parts of scenes

Thumbs Down:
- Casting Misfit
- No interesting point
- Climax
- Direction & Screenplay

Final Verdict:
Babu Baga Busy’ is Full of Adult content and comedy. This film is an official remake of Hindi Blockbuster, ‘Hunter’. I will ensure that Viewers will not connect to the movie at any point. Strictly avoidable movie.

Bottom Line: Babu Baga Boring
