Behind the screens:
Vijay Devarakonda who created the sensation with Pelli Choopulu is now coming to entertain with Dwaraka. Let us see whether Dwaraka lived up to the huge expectations around film circles and audience.
Story:

Even though he tries to come out of this role, he couldn’t as he was forced to be as spiritual guru by various influential persons for their selfish deeds. Watch Dwaraka to findout how Erra Seenu escapes from this spiritual prison to lead love life with Vasudha (Pooja Jhaveri).
Performances:
Vijay Devarakonda who stole the hearts with his performance in Pelli Chopulu, now he showed his acting once again. Though the role is quite complicated to play, he succeeded by doing full justice. He showed various emotions and expressions in his role. His body language is good. Pooja Jhaveri is attractive in traditional looks. Pruthvi attracted as a spiritual guru with settled acting. Prabhakar did his role with an ease as a negative baddie. Murali Sharma is apt in his role as an atheist. Prakash Raj made a powerful impact in a limited role in the climax. Others played according to their roles.
Analysis:
Director Srinivas Ravindra gave a powerful message to the society exposing how Baba’s, politicians, industrialists play with the beliefs of the people with his story. Story has shades of Rajendra prasad's Ayyare film. And the same time director failed to come with a strong story with the weak screenplay and dragged narration. Story lacked clarity in the climax scenes.

Technical values:
Sai Karthik attracted with his music. One melody song "Entha vichithram..' is good. Songs are speed breakers to story narration. Background score is okay. Cinematography is beautiful. Editing could have been better. Editor had chance to cut few scenes in both halves. Few dialogues thought provoking. Production values are good.

Thumbs Up:
- Vijay Devarakonda
- Cinematography

Thumbs Down:
- Boring screenplay
- Dragged narration
- Editing
- Songs placement

Final Verdict:
Dwaraka movie is all about fake Babas in the society.

Skip this movie strictly.

Performances:
Vijay Anthony is one actor who is choosing the roles which suit to him. In this film, he delivers impressive settled acting through out the film. He is seen as a confident young man who forays into politics to save himself from his enemies. He carried whole movie on this shoulders. Mia George looks good but she is limited only to songs. Thaygarajan as karunakaran got a role in which he impresses. Charle as Thyagi, who acted as minister Pandu's PA is okay in his role. Swaminathan's comedy is good in parts. Other supporting actors have done well as well.
Analysis:
Jeeva Shankar has come with a good political thriller for the film. Political thrillers are interesting but not an easy task to hold the viewers attention as they offer Unpredictable narration is a big challenge to any film makers who conceive. The movie proceeds at a brisk pace in the first half but little dragged in the second half with unwanted songs.

Technical Values:
Vijay Antony's music is not so impressive and songs are biggest speed breakers to this type of political suspense films. The theme song of the film is good. BGM works in parts. Director Jeeva Shankar who himself is a cinematographer offers good visuals which suits political drama. Editor had chance of few cuts in second half. Action sequences are well picturized. Dialogues are good. The Production Values are appropriate.

Thumbs Up:

Final Verdict:
Yaman is a political strategic thriller film which having full of political leaders mind games. The first half is more about the character of the leads and the second half deals with the political drama. Unpredictable twists make audience hook to their seats. Few good moments here and there. Climax is appealing though. How Ashok Chakravarthy takes on his political head Karunakaran as well as the rival Pandu makes the film so engaging. On a whole, the movie is an above average fare.
If you want to know how political leaders make politics dirty, then you can watch this movie with less expectations.

He should be complimented for taking the initiative to turn the short film into a feature film.He showed good emotions and expressions in right places. His dialogue delivery is good.  Rana daggupati, after playing second fiddle to Kay Kay Menon in the first half, he plays the lead in the second half. Kay Kay Menon steals the show with his powerful performance and he is calm  in most of the scenes but aggressive intent surprises with his expressions. Atul Kulkarni supported both of them as EO.
Late Om Puri got good screen presence at the start. Tapsee didn't get much scope to perform as Bangladesh refugee Ananya. Chiranjeevi’s voice over added new dimension to the film. Others  gave support to the lead cast perfectly.

Analysis:
Debutant director Sankalp Reddy came with a story inspired by the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi off the coast of Visakhapatnam in 1971 and about S21 of INS Rajput whose team along with executive naval officer remained underwater for 18 days. He made this film with lot of passion and this is seen in every scene and every frame. He attracted with his story, screenplay and direction. Right from the start till the finish he kept viewers glued to the screen. Story progress at quick pace with good twists. He showed the conflict between two senior officers in S21 and also how they unite to fight the enemy. He also showed the war games played by captains of both submarines. He highlighted the emotions and expressions of all those involved in the operations in a perfect manner. Those who bend this movie deserve all the accolades for coming with such inspiring film.

Technical Values:
K’s background score created terrific impact on the film and It elevated the film to another level. There are no songs in the film. Madhie had tough time to work for this type of movies but his cinematography is beautiful. He captured the undersea environment in great manner. All the scenes are well shot and gave new experience. Except for few drags, Sreekar Prasad's editing is top notch.
Art direction is amazing and submarine set is too good. Custumes by Ashwanth Byri reflects 1970's wartime. Dubbing for some actors are not good and their lip sync could have been better. Dialogues are good in parts and made powerful impact. VFX work is outstanding. Production values PVP cinemas and Matinee Entertainment are grand.

- Crisp Story
- BGM
- Submarine Set
- Few Terrific scenes in preclimax
