Story:
The story revolves around a common man and social activist (Chiranjeevi) who fights for a village. He is a post-graduate in hydrology and wants to help farmers in his village. As he is doing a dual role, another one is criminal (Chiranjeevi), who escapes from jail and plans to run away to a foreign country, but drops his plan after meeting a girl (Kajal Aggarwal) at the airport. One day, he comes across his look alike man (Chiranjeevi), who is being shot by a group of thugs. He admits him in a hospital and decides to impersonate him to escape from the police. After that, he came to know that that village is under threat of being occupied by an MNC, which owned by (Tarun Arora) to construct a factory. The remaining story forms how he fights for the villagers.

Performances:

After a long gap of 9-10 years, Megastar Chiranjeevi appeared on the screen and his looks more stunning than his last movie Shankar dada zindabad. His screen presence is one of the big assets to the movie. He showed once again his power in acting, dance and fights. He has taken the film on his own shoulders. He once again proved that he is the megastar of Tollywood. His intensity in coin fight is superb. For most of the scenes he is taking some time to settle to act. Kajal Aggarwal is limited to songs only. Though there is a huge age gap between the duo, they both look perfect together on-screen. Tarun Arora is okay as antagonist. Posani Murali, Ali, Brahmanandam are okay in their comedy scenes. The special cameo of Ram Charan in last song is impressive. Actress Rai Laxmi, who did a special song in the film is simply amazing. Rest of characters did their job well.

Analysis:

Director VV Vinayak has succeeded to show main theme (Flash back) but failed to mix comedy scenes to this story. He has packed the story with punch dialogues, emotional scenes, comedy and romance.

Technical values:
Music director Devi Sri Prasad gave music to chart buster songs. Singers for ‘ You and me’ song are apt. Lets do kummudu and neeru neeru are good. Dance movements are nice. Rathnavelu’s cinematography needs special mention and he showed the scenes beautifully with his lense. Coin fight composed by Ram Laxman is one of the best fight sequence in their career. The dialogues penned by Paruchuri brothers are good. Editor has chance to trim few comedy bits and first half scenes. Production values of Konidela production are rich.

Thumbs Up:
– Flashback
– Second half upto preclimax
– 3 songs
– Main plot
-Chiranjeevi

Thumbs down:-
Commercial formula
– Few scenes in first half
– Forced Comedy bits

Final Verdict:

Khaidi No 150 is Paisa Vasool commercial film with mixing of social cause elemets.  V.V. Vinayak has made proper use of Chiranjeevi’s potential in all aspects.
First half is not so good but flash back episode is simply superb. Second half is good but climax is so routine.
One Time watchable film from Chiranjeevi as comeback film.
